What happens to your application after you’ve sent it?

STAGE 1: We will review your application and provide feedback to you.
We often receive many great applications for our vacant positions. Our HR team along with respective department heads will review all the qualified applications we've received and look for the ideal combination of work experience and education applicable to the position. If your skills and work experience don’t match our requirements, you will receive a letter/email from us thanking you for your application and indicating that you were not successful. If we are not certain about the match, we may set up a telephone interview to clarify any points with you. 


STAGE 2: If we see a great match, we will set up interview(s) with you. 
If we can tell from your CV and references, and potentially from a telephone conversation with you, that you are a suitable applicant, it’s time to invite you to meet with us (an interview). You’ll be asked to come in meet with our HR team member as well as the hiring manager. Depending on the position, you may also be required to be interviewed by other members of the team or related teams. During this stage, we'll be exploring your interests in pursuing a career with our company, expose you to the Tollfree Networks culture, and allow you to interact with us and understand your skills and experience. 


STAGE 3: For some positions (e.g. Technical post), testing is required.
If you wow us in the interview(s), you may be required to sit some talent and ability assessments. The assessment tells us just that little bit more about you and what makes you, you.
These assessments, along with your skills set, knowledge and experience, are used to make an informed and fair recruitment decision. 


STAGE 4: If you pass the tests, we will do some pre employment background screening checks. 
If the interview(s) give us a clear indication that you are the person for the job and our team member decides to extend an offer to you, we will conduct a background investigation, which includes verification of education qualifications or other skills claimed, identity check, credit check, verification of dates of employment claimed and your previous employment etc. Pre-employment screening may be conducted through contracted specialist third party service providers. The following checks will be included:

  • Financial and Identity Check

  • Secondary Education Qualifications Check

  • Higher Education Qualifications Check

  • Professional Membership Check

  • Employer Reference Check

  • Personal Reference Check

  • Criminal Record Checks (Where ever applicable)

    • Basic

    • Standard

    • Enhanced

  • Driving License Check

Original documents, where reasonable, should be produced at this stage to confirm the candidate’s identity and qualifications. (Such as birth certificates, passports, driving licenses and original certificates of education or other competencies.)

The applicant will be rejected if, as a result of the screening process, Tollfree Networks considers that the applicant is unsuitable. This will be subject to local laws and regulations, however, such conditions for rejection may include:

• previous employment that has resulted in termination 
• false statements or claims on CV/resume/application forms
• false or exaggerated educational or professional qualifications
• lack of financial probity where the position applied for requires a high level of integrity
• inappropriate references from referees or previous employers
• relevant and/or undisclosed criminal convictions
• unexplained gaps in employment history
• lack of co-operation by the applicant

STAGE 5: If you pass the background screening checks, our team member will send you a job offer package.
Once the pre employment background screening checks are done successfully, the hiring manager/department head will discuss a remuneration package with our HR department.
